CD Art Display is a small program for XP, Vista and Windows 7 that displays the now playing song’s cover (album cover) on your desktop. This tool supports most of the popular media players including Windows Media Player, Winamp, foobar2000, and iTunes.
Apart from album cover, you can also access player’s controls such as Play/Pause, Previous, Next, Stop, Shuffle, Repeat buttons just by hovering the mouse cursor over the CD Art Display. Another interesting feature is the volume control function. To control the player’s volume, move the mouse cursor over the CD Art Display window on the desktop and then scroll the mouse wheel to adjust the volume.
This tool is highly customizable. One can download the hundreds of outstanding skins available at the official skins gallery to personalize the default look.
The Skin Editor with real time preview included in the tool can be used to personalize skins and even to create your own skins.
By default, there are no hotkeys assigned for this free tool. You can set the keyboard shortcuts under Options. There is also an option present to automatically download album covers from Amazon site.
