Microsoft Office Word is undoubtedly the most popular word-processing software. Although plenty of free and paid competitors are around, the sheer number of features and options make Office Word the best word-processing application.
Office Word for Windows operating system includes several options to customize or personalize it as you desire. So many features can be turned on or off. For instance, the Copilot can be disabled in Word from the Word Options dialog. For these, users need to navigate to the Word Options dialog box.
With default settings, the Word Options dialog can be accessed by clicking the File menu and then clicking Options. However, many users have complained that the Options entry is missing from the File menu.

Step 1: Launch the Word program using search or any other method. Start a new document or start editing existing one.
Step 2: Click the File menu.
Step 3: If the File menu does not show Options, click More. The File menu should now display Options. Click Options to open Word Options.

Step 1: In the Word program, simultaneously press the Alt and F keys (Alt + F) to open the File menu.
Step 2: Once the File menu is open on the screen, press the “T” key to open Word Options.
