With the latest Windows 11 24H2 update, Microsoft has added several small but handy features to the Windows 11 operating system. One of them is the ability to refresh the Wi-Fi networks list.
As you likely know, on a Windows 11 PC, we need to click on the Wi-Fi/network, battery, and volume icon and then click the right arrow next to the Wi-Fi button to view the available Wi-Fi networks.
Although the Wi-Fi networks list refreshes and shows a new connection whenever there is one, at times, it takes a long time to show the newly available Wi-Fi networks.
For instance, when you turn on the personal hotspot on your iPhone so that you can connect your Windows 11 PC to iPhone’s hotspot to connect to the internet, at times, the iPhone’s hotspot takes a long time or does not appear in the list. We need to close the Wi-Fi networks list and then open it again to view the refreshed list.
Many users have complained about this, and finally, the team behind Windows 11 has added a nifty option to refresh the list of available Wi-Fi networks. Here is how to use it.
