With Windows 8, Microsoft first introduced an alternative to the traditional Control Panel. The new Settings in Windows 10 (PC Settings in Windows 8/8.1) not only includes most of the settings and options available in the classic Control Panel but also has tens of settings and options that are not included in the Control Panel.
The Settings app is very well laid-out and is touch input friendly as well.
As said before, many of the Control Panel settings have not been moved to the new Settings app yet. Because of this, at times, after opening the Settings app, you might realize that a specific setting is present in Control Panel only.

Luckily, there is an easy way open Control Panel right from Settings app. You can use the search box in the Settings app to open Control Panel.
Yes, to open Control Panel from Settings, all you need to do is type Control Panel and then press Enter key.
The search box in Settings can also be used to quickly access other sections of Settings and Control Panel. For instance, you can type Windows Update to access Windows Update settings and Device Manager to open Device Manager.

I am in complete agreement with Delores Doak. you went from user friendly to complicating an easy task..is that called progress?????makes me really uneasy about downloading to windows 11…..if i want to uninstall an app it should not make do hand stands.. pathectic…

I loathe bing, msn and Microsoft edge. I wish I could uninstall these viruses.

I do not like what you have done to the control panel classic view. I cannot get to what I want to change. It sucks. Why would you change this to the app. as it doesn’t work. I want to see the classic view when I open up the control panel.
