Step 1: Once you finish the conversation, type “please put this information into a PDF file and offer it as a downloadable PDF file” or something similar.
Step 2: In a few seconds, ChatGPT will offer a link to download the PDF file. Click on the link to download the PDF file. If the conversation is long, ChatGPT might take more than a few seconds to prepare the PDF file.

Use a browser extension to save ChatGPT conversations as a PDF in Chrome and Edge browsers
Step 1: Visit this page of the Chrome Web Store in your Chrome/Edge browser.
Step 2: Click the Add to Chrome or Add (Edge) button.
Step 3: Click the Add extension button when you see the pop-up message to install the extension.
Step 4: From now on, the extension displays a Save as PDF button at the top of the ChatGPT webpage in your Chrome/Edge browser.
Step 5: To save a conversation, click the Save as PDF button to download the PDF file containing your conversation.

Use Print to PDF to save the single page of the ChatGPT conversation as a PDF
As the title says, this method is handy only if you have a single page of conversation on the ChatGPT website. You cannot use this method when you have multiple pages of conversations, as that would require saving each page as a separate PDF.
Step 1: Simultaneously press Ctrl + P to open the Print dialog.
Step 2: Select Print to PDF from the printer dialog and then click the Print button.
Step 3: Choose a location to save the PDF file and then click the Save button.

Use Notepad or WordPad to save ChatGPT conversations as a PDF on Windows 11/10 PC
Step 1: Use the mouse or trackpad to select the ChatGPT conversations that you want to export to PDF, and then use Ctrl + C hotkey to copy the selected text.
Step 2: Open the Notepad or WordPad program.
Step 3: Use the Ctrl + V keyboard shortcut to paste into the Notepad or WordPad program.
Step 4: Click the File menu and then click Print or use Ctrl + P to open the Print dialog.
Step 5: Select Microsoft Print to PDF from the Printer drop-down and then click the Print button.
Step 6: Choose a location to save the PDF file and then click the Save button. That’s it!
